APPLETON, WI (July 21, 2025) – The Salvation Army of the Fox Cities is proud to announce Appvion as the Presenting Sponsor for its First Annual Golf Outing, to be held at the Fox Valley Golf Club in Kaukauna, Wisconsin, on September 29th, 2025.
Appvion’s generous $5,000 presenting sponsorship will serve as a launching point for the outing, helping to champion this community-focused event and inspire additional sponsorships from local businesses and organizations. The Salvation Army Fox Cities invites others to join Appvion in “Doing the Most Good” by lending a hand to support our neighbors in need.
“At Appvion, we believe strong communities are the foundation of thriving businesses. Supporting The Salvation Army Fox Cities Golf Outing is one way we can help strengthen the vital services they provide, whether it’s food, shelter, or hope for those facing hard times." Said Kevin Clunie, President at Appvion. "We’re proud to stand alongside an organization that puts compassion into action right here in our community.”
As the presenting sponsor, Appvion is proud to help bring the mission of The Salvation Army to life through this event.
“All proceeds from the golf outing will go directly to support The Salvation Army’s year-round programs—including the food pantry and noon meal program, housing support, and Christmas assistance—ensuring that critical basic needs are met for families across the Fox Cities area,” said Kristal Knudtson, Director of Development and Marketing Communications of The Salvation Army Fox Cities.
